This is absolutely the best tote bag I have every had. I love, love, love this tote bag. It's the perfect size to hold everything I need on a daily basis including my water bottle and iPad. I ordered it in Chocolate and the color is exactly that. The leather is soft and supple. I believe this tote will last a very long time. I have since ordered the Piel Open Market Tote in Black and look forward to receiving it soon.

This is a great leather bag. I have been using it for more than 3 years for school, work and travel, with very little care. It works well as an overnight bag for clothes and cosmetics as it is quite spacious. It would also work great for women with young children who just need a bag to hold it all. The metal buckles securing the straps to the bag are very strong. Would require a sleeve if using for laptops as there is no padding. An inside pocket makes storing of small items easy. There are also easy access pockets to the front and side of the bag. Overall, a classy, spacious and durable bag, I would strongly recommend.

I have been on the hunt for a good work bag. I was going to say perfect, but this surely comes close. I have a long commute to work so I need to carry alot. The Piel bag is soft and holds a good number of items. There is a cute compartment at the top to hold items you need quickly, outside pockets and an additional one on the side. Right now I am carrying my iPad, some mags, a notebook, Tupperware for my sandwich, makeup case and a liter of water. I still have room. If you are looking for a laptop bag this would be great for a Mac, but it doesn't have a sleeve. I plan to plan to purchase the larger version of this bag for my laptop and traveling. This is a great everyday work bag, you will not be disappointed.
